As stated in the release "The changes follow an independent review of Queensland’s workers’ compensation process and national reviews into first responder mental health by Beyond Blue and a Commonwealth Senate inquiry."APA Qld's submissions are referenced many times in the Commonwealth Senate Inquiry, and we would like to thank our members who came forward with their stories, and thank every organisation that has also contributed to the reports.
We also thank the Qld Government for bringing this legislation to the forefront.
